Before You Apply

Rotary is a service organization of community leaders and global citizens united for the common good. The Rotary Club of Newnan invites proposals from 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations in the Newnan and Coweta County area to apply. Proposals should fund programs or projects that promote Rotary's mission and ideals, and enhance access, fairness, inclusiveness, and diversity in the greater Newnan–Coweta County community.

Applications are accepted online only — no mail-in applications. The application window runs September 1 through November 1 each Rotary year. Our Grants Committee will review all applications, and applicants will be notified once a decision has been made.

Eligibility Guidelines

  • Your organization must be a qualified 501(c)(3).
  • Only organizations serving Coweta County residents may apply.
  • The application must be filled out in its entirety.
  • Your contact person must have direct knowledge of the grant request and be able to answer questions about it.
  • The person completing the application may be someone other than the primary contact.
  • A member of our Community Grant Committee may contact your organization if additional information is needed, and a site inspection may be required.
  • Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

What Grants May Fund

Examples include direct delivery of services (medical treatment, counseling, instruction), tangible items for the population served (food, clothing, instructional items, equipment), tangible items or equipment for the organization (vans, computers, copiers), staff training, administrative services and supplies supporting program delivery, and purchase or renovation of facilities.
